How to use Alipay

Alipay is the most popular on-line payment solution in China.
It works wonders with Chinese debit cards (UnionPay).

With Alipay you have two checkout options:

• Direct Chinese debit card payment
  Use Alipay as a gateway to access your Chinese bank on-line interface.

• Pre-paid Alipay balance
  If you already have an Alipay account you can pay with your remaining balance.

Direct card payment ^

The interface is entirely in Mandarin
If you cannot read characters, first consider installing these free programs.
Google toolbar offers machine translations of entire pages.
Nciku is an in-browser dictionary: highlight and translate any character.

• Step one
  Choose to pay with Alipay by clicking on the appropriate button.
  
  
• Step two
  Click on the second tab of the Alipay page, “Direct payment from my bank”.
  Select your bank from the ones available on screen.
  
  
  
  
• Step three
  Quickly review the total amount and proceed.
  Alipay will redirect you to your selected bank payment interface.
  
  
  
• Step four
  Each bank has its own procedure and interface.
  Don’t fret: it is easier than it seems.

• Step five
  Hooray! Transaction successful.

Alipay pre-paid balance payment ^

A convenient and streamlined payment method.
You must have an Alipay account with enough balance.

• Step one
  Choose to pay with Alipay.
  Click on the corresponding button to proceed.
  
  
• Step two
  Click on the first tab of the Alipay transaction page.
  Select “Pay from Alipay balance” iinstead of “Direct payment from my bank”.
  
  
• Step three
  Enter your Alipay personal details (username, password).
  
  
  
• Step four
  Hooray! You will receive your FlashBuy voucher via MMS or e-mail.
